Michael D. Oke is a results-driven executive and Canadian certified Professional Engineer with MBA and PMP credentials. He is widely recognized for his ability to combine technical expertise with strategic business leadership, delivering sustainable growth and value creation across diverse industries. With over two decades of experience spanning energy, petrochemicals, mining, agriculture, and infrastructure development, Michael has consistently demonstrated excellence in corporate governance, portfolio management, and international business development.

Throughout his career, Michael has held senior leadership roles in progressive, people-oriented organizations, successfully managing projects across 37 countries. His global track record includes collaborations with leading corporations such as Shell Canada, Petronas Brazil, ExxonMobil Germany, Total France, Sasol South Africa, Dangote Refinery Nigeria, Reliance India, Gazprom Russia, Saudi Aramco, and Qatar Gas, among others. In these roles, he has consistently delivered measurable results—improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and lead times, maximizing revenue generation, and mentoring cross-functional teams.

As Global Director with Berkshire Hathaway/Marmon/Enersul, Michael spearheaded high-value projects across North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. His leadership style blends pragmatism with vision, enabling him to negotiate complex contracts, build strategic alliances, and oversee large-scale initiatives that align with both shareholder expectations and stakeholder needs.

Currently serving as Executive Chairman of Devvon Group, Michael leads operations in Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Canada, Kazakhstan, and China. Under his leadership, Devvon has expanded its footprint in energy, mining, agriculture and agri-business, petrochemicals, and infrastructure development, with a strong emphasis on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. He is particularly committed to health, safety, security, community development, and sustainability, ensuring that business growth is aligned with long-term societal impact.

About Steve Lloyd

Steven Lloyd has worked in leadership roles in multiple locations in several countries all over North America, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa and prior to Sierramin Bauxite, he was in a key operations leadership role working on a $64 billion dollar project to produce 1 million barrels per day crude oil production. With over 34 years in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Engineering and Construction sectors, Steven brings significant expe­rience in the operations field from project conception through execution to completion. Managing operations deliverables, mapping out plans for the safe and seamless start-up of projects he is responsible for, he ensures that Conduct of Operations is clearly defined and always followed through to implement safe and cost-effective start-ups and opera­tions.
Steven has managed multiple capital projects and has been instrumental identifying areas of OPEX reduction, eliminating low value projects works, implementing spare parts pro­ gram and increasing reliability, resulting in significant production increase. Proven leader developing Operations expenditure and framing future works by planning ahead for 1,3 & 5 years for better efficiency.
Steven’s Project and Operations experience has included assessments of pre-design work, review/consulting on procurement contract forms, and advising/analysis on project deliv­ery methods, constructability reviews, estimation of project-capital cost submittals, cata­logue cuts and means, bidding activities, project start-up and operations, project manage­ment, construction management, scheduling, value engineering, contract administration, procurement, quality assurance and errors and omissions, daily contractor project execu­tion management, strategic planning, technical issue evaluations, OPEX development and planning as well as Agile project development process.
He also has vast experience in management of HAZOP, PHA, Reliability bad actor investi­gations, incident investigation and lessons learned implementation to reduce and elimi­nate project and operational risks. Steven has been involved in multiple environmental re­mediation projects and takes health, safety and environmental sustainability seriously.

Marlene Amedome is a transformative Executive with over two decades of leadership spanning defense, aerospace, mining, petroleum, and international development sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Business Development, & Partnerships Officer at Devvon Group, she spearheads strategic growth initiatives and sustainability integration across West Africa’s emerging markets.

Marlene’s career is defined by her ability to lead complex, high-value programs with precision and purpose. In her previous role as the Managing Director for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)’s $9.5 billion Global Health Supply Chain program, she directed operations across 76 countries, overseeing procurement, contracts, logistics, and strategic partnerships for  HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, and maternal health.

Her earlier roles include positions where she managed multimillion-dollar portfolios across several countries, negotiated international contracts, and implemented supply chain strategies that delivered measurable cost savings and operational excellence. A former U.S. Army Soldier, Marlene brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to every challenge.

Marlene holds a master’s degree in Public Health (Florida International University) and another in Acquisition & Supply Chain Management (University of Maryland). She is certified in Program Management and Contract Management, respectively, and is certified in Biomedical Human Research. Pavel Gonchar has been involved with Construction projects as an advisory leader and with several senior management Construction Project roles under his belt. His responsibili­ties have included leading complex Construction and Infrastructure projects from initiation all through to execution, monitoring and controlling stages, all the way to project comple­tion; always under budget, on time and without compromising quality, meeting Customer expectations. He has extensive experience in Project innovative risk management systems on Projects across several countries and he has been able to efficiently and effectively identify and relate relevant technical issues to complete solutions using engineering princi­ples selected by counsel, thus avoiding scope creep which then facilitates project develop­ment using appropriate courses of action.
Pavel has led numerous international projects to success over the last 20 years working with Project owners and contractors and providing services such as plant operations, proj­ect management, construction management, process design, environmental and safety engineering, regulatory compliance administration, rule negotiation and testimony as well as consulting and HAZOP chairmanship.
He has extensive experience throughout all phases of Mine Construction development, Project Commerce with extensive experience drafting and negotiating numerous types of contracts and financial instruments. Brimah A. Conteh

Director, Mining

About Brimah A. Conteh

Mr. Conteh is currently a General Manager for Sierramin Bauxite (SL) Ltd. He started as project manager in 2014 and became the technical director and Chief Operations Officer in 2017 after working with several poverseas based consulting firms on the project. For the past 7 years he has been working on the bauxite project with SRK Consulting (UK) and Mineral In­formation and Development Centre (MIDC; India). He fully participated in the development of several exploration and beneficiation protocols for a low/medium grade bauxite deposit to achieve a high marketable grade at reasonable recoveries. With his Mechanical engineer­ing background, he also participated in the development and assessment of two trial ben­eficiation plants for the same bauxite deposit.
Mr. Conteh is specialized in computer Aided Design, Mine Survey/planning and exploration resource assessment. He has a wealth of experience spanning over 23years in the mining industry. He worked as Mine Surveyor on the Koidu Kimberlite Project (2002-2006) where he rose to the rank of Chief Surveyor and Mine Planning Engineer; (Koidu Holdings (S.A)). He also served as Mining and Exploration Planning Engineer for SLDC -Kono (2006-2008) and later Surveying, Planning and GIS Expert, and Geological Advisor for Target Resource Expert -TME (2008-2009); all in alluvial Diamond and Gold Operations. He has also worked for Avivit Minerals Resources Ltd. Sierra Leone (2009-2011) and Milestone Mining Company as Mining and Exploration Planning Manager respectively. From 2011 - 2013 he worked as project Manager in Universal Gold Mining and Exploration Monitoring 3 different exploration project licenses in Sierra Leone.
Mr. Conteh has also involved in a lot of consultancy work for several exploration and mining projects in Sierra Leone, especially alluvial and hard rock diamond and gold deposits

Young Pan

Director for Sales and Bus. Dev. (Asia)

About Young Pan

Mr. Yong Pan serves as the Director for Sales and Business Development – Asia at Devvon Group, bringing with him more than 18 years of international experience across engineering, trading, agribusiness, and industrial project development. Based in Asia and West Africa, he has built a reputation as a dynamic business leader who bridges markets, cultures, and industries to deliver sustainable growth and long‑term partnerships.

Yong’s career began in China’s manufacturing and engineering sector, where he gained a strong technical foundation in factory operations, food science, and industrial processes. Early roles with Roquette China and CBH Co. Ltd. gave him hands‑on exposure to production, quality assurance, and vendor management. He quickly transitioned into sales engineering positions with Shanghai Triwoin Tech Co. Ltd. and Krones AG, where he marketed advanced food processing and packaging technologies to global clients. These formative years sharpened his ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen—skills that continue to define his leadership style today.

In 2009, Yong expanded his career into international trade and business management. As General Manager of Subeik Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., he coordinated sourcing, financing, and logistics for sister companies in Ghana, supporting operations in food processing and construction materials. He later joined Niche Food (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., where he was instrumental in sourcing Ghanaian cocoa products for the Chinese market, successfully promoting West African commodities to Asian buyers.

From 2017 to 2019, Yong served as Country Director for China National Building Materials Group (CNBM) in Ghana. In this role, he secured contracts under Ghana’s flagship “One District, One Factory” (1D1F) program, promoted Chinese technology and equipment to both government and private sector projects, and developed markets for building materials such as glass, gypsum board, and steel coils. His work in supply chain management and warehousing further strengthened his expertise in large‑scale project execution.

Since 2019, Yong has held dual leadership roles as General Manager of Sinowa International Engineering Co. Ltd. and Business Manager of Tiast West Africa Ltd.. He has led financing, engineering, procurement, and construction for agro‑industrial projects including rice milling, shea processing, cassava starch production, sardine canning, and solar power plants. Under Tiast’s innovative “financing, building, operating, maintaining, and off‑taking” model, he has successfully developed integrated value chains for grain, oilseeds, fruits, and vegetables—demonstrating his ability to align investment, technology, and market access.

At Devvon Group, Yong Pan leverages this extensive background to drive sales growth, strategic partnerships, and business development across Asia. Pavel has led numerous international projects to success over the last 20 years working with Project owners and contractors and providing services such as plant operations, proj­ect management, construction management, process design, environmental and safety engineering, regulatory compliance administration, rule negotiation and testimony as well as consulting and HAZOP chairmanship.
He has extensive experience throughout all phases of Mine Construction development, Project Commerce with extensive experience drafting and negotiating numerous types of contracts and financial instruments. Pavel's engagement experience has included assess­ments of pre-design work, review/consulting on procurement contract forms, and advis­ing/analysis on project delivery methods, constructability reviews, estimation of proj­ect-capital cost submittals, catalog cuts and means, bidding activities, project start-up and operations, project management, construction management, scheduling, value engineer­ing, contract administration, procurement, quality assurance and errors and omissions.
He has also performed ISO 9000 and other audits, strategic planning, technical issue eval­uations and forensic engineering. In the risk management area, his experience includes project governance reviews, claims prevention, project risk assessment, project risk man­agement training/audits and the development of corporation-wide risk management pro­grams for multi-national corporations and public and private entities. His experience in project analysis and audits spans many countries, several industries and total installed cost values, with overall project values exceeding $500 million USD.

Stewart has always had a passion for Finance, Economics, received a Canadian Securities Course and occupied various senior management positions across Western Canada, the last being with one of the top retailers in the world and was utilized as a leader in guiding teams to reach new levels of success and being noted for consistently building teams that exceeded set targets and objectives, increasing Clients base and reducing shrink and ex­penditure. Throughout his career, he has been involved in ensuring optimum performance at the highest levels, developing a number of core skills that include but not limited to the following: Business Development, Negotiation, Mergers and Acquisition, Asset Manage­ment, Commercial Strategy Development and Execution, Project Economics, Project Man­agement, Business Planning, Profit & Loss Responsibility, Investment Appraisals and Re­ source Allocation, as well as Leadership/Communication, Capital Raising and Project Fi­nance, Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances Formation, Supply Chain Management, Busi­ness Planning, Corporate Governance and Organizational Behaviour.

He has vast knowledge, experience and expertise in Investment Proposals, divestment economics to support/facilitate deals' decision-making, carried out periodic economics evaluation and consolidation of all business plan submissions in respect of development studies, delivered staff competency development, coaching of regional economics skill pool and coordinated the Economics IT systems and Tool sets ensuring projects met scheduled timelines, were under budget without compromising HSE requirements or compromising quality standards by any means.

Brimah A. Conteh

General Manager

About Brimah A. Conteh

Mr. Conteh is currently a General Manager for Sierramin Bauxite (SL) Ltd. He started as project manager in 2014 and became the technical director and Chief Operations Officer in 2017 after working with several poverseas based consulting firms on the project. For the past 7 years he has been working on the bauxite project with SRK Consulting (UK) and Mineral In­formation and Development Centre (MIDC; India). He fully participated in the development of several exploration and beneficiation protocols for a low/medium grade bauxite deposit to achieve a high marketable grade at reasonable recoveries. With his Mechanical engineer­ing background, he also participated in the development and assessment of two trial ben­eficiation plants for the same bauxite deposit.
Mr. Conteh is specialized in computer Aided Design, Mine Survey/planning and exploration resource assessment. He has a wealth of experience spanning over 23years in the mining industry. He worked as Mine Surveyor on the Koidu Kimberlite Project (2002-2006) where he rose to the rank of Chief Surveyor and Mine Planning Engineer; (Koidu Holdings (S.A)). He also served as Mining and Exploration Planning Engineer for SLDC -Kono (2006-2008) and later Surveying, Planning and GIS Expert, and Geological Advisor for Target Resource Expert -TME (2008-2009); all in alluvial Diamond and Gold Operations. He has also worked for Avivit Minerals Resources Ltd. Sierra Leone (2009-2011) and Milestone Mining Company as Mining and Exploration Planning Manager respectively. From 2011 - 2013 he worked as project Manager in Universal Gold Mining and Exploration Monitoring 3 different exploration project licenses in Sierra Leone.
Mr. Conteh has also involved in a lot of consultancy work for several exploration and mining projects in Sierra Leone, especially alluvial and hard rock diamond and gold deposits

Sheku Kallon

Geology Manager

About Sheku Kallon

A commercially driven geologist and sample processing analyst with a solid management background, and connections, within the minerals and mining sector across the mano River union. Sheku has got over 10 years of experience working in post-conflict Sierra Leone and Liberia planning geology projects, gathering and analyzing geological data, and studying the earth's crust and various materials. Sheku has extensive knowledge of bauxite geology and mineralogy along with the Kasila belts in Sierra Leone, he also under­stands how the high silica bauxite in Port Loko can be upgraded through benefici­ation to meet off-takers and low-temperature refineries specifications.
Proven ability to screen, rank, and prioritize exploration targets for investment. Experience in dealing with government systems and officials to achieve desired commercial out­ comes. Sheku is amongst several other Sierra Leonean professionals identified by Sier­ramin Bauxite for further career development to enhance him for his future leading role. Sheku has vast experience of the heterogeneity, density, and nature of the Port Loko baux­ite; an experience that places him in the position to meet operational demand and over­ come associated exploration, mining, and metallurgical challenges.
Plan exploration and development drilling, conduct metallurgical test work, ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) measures are always adhered to. Supported SRK and other external consultancies to prepare mineral resource estimates as well as other technical reports. Undertaken a training program on mineral resources management, min­eral rights management, economic geology conducted at Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies, Nanchang-China. A Strategic thinker with a pragmatic way of translating plans into effective action, Experience with various geological techniques like mining, explora­tion, sample preparation and analysis, boring and numerical modeling, metallurgical test work, Program design, management, monitoring and evaluation, Risk assessments, financ­ing and budgeting, Familiar with environmental regulations, Experienced Trainer and Facil­itator.
Sheku enjoys a cordial relationship with the project community and has been a volunteer teacher helping school children and pupils to understand mathematics and other science subjects. In addition to this, he has mentored over 30 Lab-technicians and attendants on sampling and processing techniques.
